A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Southern California

and moved to Northwest Alabama with my husband in 2004

while we were raising our family.

Together we’ve raised five children, all now adults,

and these days we call the mountains of Western North Carolina home.

I’ve been happily married to my best friend for over 26 years,

and much of my life today revolves around

family, caring for my father, writing, and the work I do.

And yes, the Gypsy in Kristi Wandering Gypsy has a reason for being there.

I have Gypsy heritage in my family. The name wasn't something

I picked because it sounded mystical.

It's part of who I am and where I come from.

And considering I've lived from

Southern California to Alabama to the mountains of North Carolina,

the wandering part turned out to fit pretty damn well too.

HOW I GOT HERE

I just didn’t always know what I was picking up on or what to do with it.

A lot of it came from paying attention. To people. Patterns. Timing. Symbols.

Those little things that don’t make sense at first,

but later you realize there was something there.

Over the years I’ve studied, trained, practiced, asked a lot of questions,

and learned a lot about what works for me and what doesn't.

I don’t think there’s ever a point where you know it all.

Today I work with psychic and mediumship readings,

Tarot and other forms of divination, workshops, and writing.

They may look like different things,

but I approach all of them pretty much the same way.

I pay attention to what’s there,

look at it from different angles,

and see what connects.

So that’s a little about me.
