The Quiet Reset

This is the kind of stillness I’m talking about.
Notes from the Threshold
April 5, 2026
Alright… I didn’t fall off. I just went quiet for a minute.
Oh… and yeah, Happy Easter!
The last couple months have been a lot. Up, down, all over the place. And I could feel it more in my body than anything else. So instead of trying to push through it, I stepped back.
Let things settle.
Sat outside the other night and just watched.
Everything felt still.
Not empty. Not heavy.
Just… calm.
The kind of calm where nothing is pulling at you to react.
And I realized… I haven’t felt that in a while.
If you’ve been feeling a little off, a little tired, or just not wanting to engage the same way you normally do… you’re not the only one.
Something’s been shifting.
Not loud.
Not dramatic.
Just enough to make you stop and look at things a little differently.
This week isn’t about pushing.
It’s about getting yourself back under you.
Doing normal things again.
Open the windows.
Clean something you’ve been ignoring.
Step outside.
Sit with your coffee or whatever drink you got on hand and actually be there.
No phone. No distractions.
Just you.
I pulled from my Angelarium deck for this one…
haven’t touched it in a while and yeah, it had something to say.… it hit.
Big tree in the center. Solid. Alive.
Elk all around it just standing there, looking up, not rushing anything.
And it came out upside down.
Didn’t feel like a problem.
Felt like a reset.
Like… if you’ve been a little disconnected from yourself, your routine, your normal way of being… this is where you come back to it.
Not by forcing anything.
Just by getting grounded again.
Because growth doesn’t start where people think it does.
It starts under the surface.
Quiet.
Unseen.
And then one day it’s just… there.
That’s what this feels like right now.
Not nothing happening.
Something building.
You’ll probably feel things start to pick up again toward the end of the week.
Nothing crazy.
Just movement.
And you’ll handle it better if you’re steady when it comes in.
So don’t overthink it.
Get some air.
Eat something real.
Touch the ground, even if it sounds stupid.
It matters more than you think.
Other than that…
Stay grounded.
Stay aware.
Let things show themselves before you decide what they mean.
